Wow!!!!! What a weekend. We got up early Thursday (8/8/13) and headed to Kampala where we spent the night with my friends Caleb and Peace. It was nice to see them again. They are the ones I stayed with for a month while I was getting my banking, phone and Internet straighten out. Headed to western Uganda for ordinations this Sunday.  We plan to come back the 12th.   I hope to see some gorillas.  We will almost be in Biwinda and Bishop Yusto is hoping to set it up so we can see some. On Sunday (8/4/13) Bishop and I visited the Independent church Kadama in the district of Kibuku. Bishop Gogo is the general secretary for the ICCEC in Uganda and this was his third visit in preparation to receive them into the ICCEC in October of this year. Their pastor, Micheal Mukatabala, will be ordained as a deacon in the ICCEC at the end of September. The people of the church welcomed us with great joy and are looking forward to being…

Yesterday (7/31/13) we went to a church that will be coming into the CEC soon. It was a pastoral visit to meet the people and explain a little bit about the CEC.

On Thursday Bishop Gogo met with Pastor Mike from Budaka, which is about 30 miles away, about coming into the ICCEC. We hope to be able to go to Budaka and worship at his church soon. The meeting went well and Pastor Mike asked us a lot of questions about the ICCEC. Now we are all praying for God to make it clear to Pastor Mike and the elders of his church His will is for their church.    …

Bsp. Muhindo, A CEC Bishop from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) that I met at Bsp. Hannington’s anniversary (2012), had to flee rebels and is now in Bundibugyo, Uganda with Bishop Hannington.
